If you are new to Little Rock and need to do some shopping, you have tons of great options. Although relatively small in size, Little Rock has a wide range of shops, from large department stores to specialty shops. In the quaint capitol of Arkansas, you'll be able to find everything from Bahco tools to office supplies to designer fashions.
Every city in the United States has a large mall and Little Rock is no different. Located on West Markham Street, Park Plaza Mall has over one hundred and fifty stores. The mall is anchored by Dillard's and has a lot of well known stores like The Gap, Indigo Bookstore, and Bath and Body Works. If you are looking for a baby feeding set or apparel for your youngster, you'll be sure to find it at Gymboree or Gap Kids. The mall is also equipped with loads of specialty shops where you can get your hair and nails done, find a new pair of glasses, or buy a new cell phone. Also, if your personal taste is on the glamorous side, a brand new Coach just opened in the Park Plaza Mall. No matter your style or needs, the Park Plaza Mall has got something for you.
A new development in Little Rock is the Midtowne Mall. It's not nearly as big as The Park Plaza Mall and you won't be able to have a custom license plate frame made, but its growth is on the rise and it has many newly opened stores to serve you. Most of Midtowne's stores currently offer women's clothing. You'll find an Anne Taylor's, Chico's, White House|Black Market, Harold's, and J. Jill's. If you are looking for items for your kitchen or home, Midtowne's has a Williams-Sonoma that offers a lot of upscale kitchenware. If you would rather save a buck, be sure to check out the Pottery Barn for lots of reasonably priced, trendy items to spruce up your home. If your baby is recently out of diapers and you need to invest in some more age appropriate clothes, The Children's place has a wide variety of apparel for children of all ages.
If you are looking for some great specialty shops, the Trellis Square Shopping Center has a lot of great, local stores to choose from. For any electronic needs, the square has a Radio Shack where you can buy everything from televisions to computer software. If you are looking for something that is unique and one of a kind, be sure to check out Cecil's Jewellery and A Woman's Wish list. You won't find a large department store or a couture wedding dress shop that sells Sophia Tolli, but you will find three hair salons and Little Rock Jams that offers music lessons and a Joel's House of Dance where you can work on your moves!
Whether it be a large department store, an all American mall, or a quaint little shopping district, Little Rock has everything you can imagine to fulfill your shopping needs.
